Bristol Airport's First Hotel
Manhire Associates have recently completed the site investigation for Bristol Airport's first hotel. Planning permission was granted in January 2001 for the 251 bed development next to the Terminal Building.
The building is arranged in two wings and is founded on 'Karstic' limestone. Manhire Associates Geo-Environmental team undertook investigations on site to assess risks in the ground, particularly 'swallow' holes or 'di-solution features'. Investigations were sequenced to avoid disruption to the Airport and Manhire Associates worked closely with the Airport team. The Lynxs development, managed by L'Etoile Developments is designed by EPR as project architects with Applied Energy as Mechanical & Electrical engineers & Edmond Shipway as Cost Consultants.     

10 exchange square, London

Located in the Broadgate complex of the City of London, 10 Exchange Square is a twelve storey office complex providing 237,936 sq ft of floor space.

The canopy structure is a combination of stainless and mild steel sections, which support the stainless steel roof panels.

This project is complete.
