The new engineering facility on New Road, Sheerness provides over 5000m2 of warehouse space, together with 250m2 of offices and a further 1400m2 of storage space. The site extends over 3.1 acres.
The buildings are steel frame portals supported on piled foundations. The surface water drainage system was designed to limit the outfall into the ‘Fleet Channel’, which is part of the Thames network, with a large shallow attenuation tank, which was subject to Environment Agency Approval.
