Summary of Engineering Career
Graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology 1998 with an honours Degree in Structural Engineering, Norman joined Dublin firm The McKenna Pearce Practice as a Civil & Structural Design Engineer. In 2001, he moved to Melbourne, Australia where he worked with well known, multi-disciplinary engineering companies Scott Wilson, Sinclair Knight Merz and Taylor Thompson Whitting.
On returning to Dublin in 2004 Norman joined Fahy Fitzpatrick Consulting Engineers as a Project Design Engineer. After two years in this role he was promoted to Associate Director for the firm’s structural division. Having successfully managed and completed commercial, residential and refurbishment projects in Ireland, he was then promoted to Board Director for the company in 2008
Norman joined Manhire Associates Ltd. as an Associate Director in 2010 and brings with him experience gained on a wide range of developments types including, residential, commercial, retail, industrial, airport, medical/health care, institutional, domestic, leisure, recreational and government facilities.
