The site is the old Pewley Reservoir site at Pewley Hill, Guildford. The reservoir was decommissioned and 2 new apartment buildings constructed over a common basement car park. The site is sloping and a ground works strategy was developed to minimise retaining wall construction and to optimize the earthworks and foundations which were shallow pad and strip footings bearing on chalk. The development comprises 14 apartments.
