Situated in Harlow, Essex the site extends over 2 acres, with 11 apartment buildings providing 91 apartments. The development is built in traditional masonry construction, with load bearing masonry walls and pre-cast floors. An existing sewer crosses the site at the entrance, and piling was avoided by developing a concrete ring foundation and ground beam solution that enabled the structure to bridge the sewer.
The surface water outfall was limited and the drainage system was designed to limit flows.
