The site is situated on Queens Road, in the centre of Reading. The 9 storey development of 60 apartments, commercial and retail space over a basement car park is constructed in reinforced concrete with a transfer structure over the basement. The building is founded on piles in chalk, with a sheet piled wall excavation system designed carefully to limit vibration.
