The redevelopment of the Ramada Hotel at Heathrow comprises a new 5-storey 200 bedroom hotel and a 2-storey restaurant block fronted by the retained facade of the Barclay Arms public house and landscaped parking area for 70 cars.
The 5-storey hotel is a reinforced concrete structure supported on ‘energy’ piles which incorporate heat exchange pipework to reduce the heating load for the building.
The two buildings are linked by an elegant glazed porte-cochere and foyer.
This project is under construction.
