Saffron Square
The site is located on the Wellesley Road gateway, benefiting from numerous transport links, via rail, tram and road. The mixed use development comprises 6 buildings, with an iconic tower extending 44 storeys over the skyline, providing commercial and retail spaces as well as  private residential studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses.

The medium rise buildings are of reinforced concrete flat slab construction with thin slabs and ‘blade columns’, however the tower slabs are post-tensioned to minimize foundation loads. The site contains existing basements and foundation structures and proposals have been developed to retain and re-use existing piles as part of the works.
