The building is an existing four storey reinforced concrete frame and Manhire Associates were commissioned by Gemini Commercial Investments to work on the renovation of the building and to undertake a feasibility assessment to add 2 new floors to the building. As part of the refurbishment, the building was partially re-clad, with the entrance and lobby area remodelled and the installation of a new scenic lift.
As well as undertaking feasibility studies, work has included demolition and installation of new floor structures and the design of a mullion and transom system that supports an existing feature stair, and new exterior curtain wall.
