Working in the office allows me to gain the knowledge to be able to understand and design buildings. Using engineering tools & resources that are available, as well as the knowledge gained from working with the Chartered Engineers.
By working on site I have been able to gain invaluable experience of the construction process & determining how a building is constructed from working drawings that the company produces.
I have also been assigned a mentor in order for me to work towards becoming chartered with the IStrucE”.

“I started with Manhire Associates in September 2007 as an undergraduate structural engineer on my placement year from the University of Surrey.
Manhire Associates is a rapidly growing consultancy and the company is very friendly and are always happy to help. This is very important to me as I came here to develop my knowledge of engineering to help me in my final year at university, and this has been achieved to a very high level. During my time here I have been given a wide range of responsibilities and roles in projects, gaining experience in the various engineering tools and practices enabling me achieve my targets.
