The YMCA project has given the developer, Taylor Wimpey, the opportunity to provide a significant public amenity on the outskirts of Maidstone. The focus is a 1500m2 sports hall with a 21m clear span and includes a gym and restaurant facilities. The remainder of the 6 acre site is residential, comprising 51 houses and a 37 unit apartment block served by new adoptable highways and drainage networks.
