Craig is a Director responsible for the Leeds office with over 20 years’ experience in the design and construction of a range of buildings. With a passion for detail, and a committed approach, Craig not only contributes to projects from a wealth of experience, but also brings an energy and a sense of humor in a style and approach that clients enjoy.

After obtaining a Masters degree from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Craig worked at Whitby Bird and Partners and then Price and Myers in London on a range of projects from £2M to £100M in value. Craig moved to Leeds to join Buro Happold in 2007 and was responsible for the delivery of structural engineering services on developments in Education, Leisure, Retail and Commercial sectors.

In 2013 Craig joined Robson Liddle as a Principle Engineer where he was responsible for the delivery of structural engineering services across offices in Leeds, Castleford, and Barnsley as part of the NPS Group, providing design services in partnership with Local Authorities. Craig focussed on managing the design process to drive best value for both the client and NPS.

Craig joined Manhire Associates in February 2015 taking responsibility for the Leeds office. As well as developing relationships and building a portfolio of work in the north, since joining Manhire Associates, Craig has lead a team working on the regeneration of Abbey Road in London for the London Borough of Camden which involved building over a large Thames Water sewer next to a Network Rail embankment.

Craig is a Chartered Engineer as well as a Member of the Institute of Structural Engineers. He mentors staff with energy and enthusiasm. Craig takes a leading role in company policy to invest in staff and the sponsorship of ‘undergraduate’ and ‘postgraduate’ studies.
